Panelist privacy policy
Effective 7 November 2026. Applies to the Panelist apps for Android and iOS.
Panelist is a viewer for dashboards on a Grafana server that you run or have access to. It is built to collect nothing about you.
What the app stores
The server address and the access token (or sign-in) you enter are stored only on your device: on Android encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore, on iOS in the Keychain. The app may also keep recent dashboard data on the device so it can show it again quickly. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Who the app talks to
The app connects only to the server address you enter, using that server's standard HTTP API, to list dashboards and fetch their data. Your token is sent only to that server. What that server records is up to whoever runs it. The app has no servers of its own and sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not sell or share any data, because we never receive any.
Crash reports
The app has no crash reporting of its own. If you have turned on sharing of usage and diagnostics with Google or Apple, their systems may send us anonymous crash reports, under their own privacy policies.
Children
Panelist is a tool for people who run monitoring servers and is not directed at children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions: armandocerna@gmail.com.
